My Summer Travel Bucket List: Counting Down My Top 10 Dream Trips
Every year my travel bucket list seems to grow bigger and bigger. I have been lucky enough to experience some amazing places already like Disney World and the beach, but there are still so many destinations I want to explore.
The world is huge and full of unique experiences, different cultures, and beautiful places just waiting to be discovered. Traveling allows us to create memories with our families that last forever, and I want to experience as much of it as I can.
So, I decided to put together my Top 10 Summer Bucket List Trips. We will start at number 10 and work our way down to my ultimate dream destination.
#10 – A Royal Caribbean Cruise to Perfect Day at CocoCay
Coming in at number 10 is taking a cruise with Royal Caribbean International and visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay.
I haven't been on many cruises, and I have to be honest… I get a little nervous because I struggle with motion sickness. But everything I have seen about Perfect Day at CocoCay makes it look like such an incredible experience. The beaches, the water park, and the relaxation all look like something I would absolutely love to experience.
#9 – Great Wolf Lodge in Arizona
Number nine on the list is visiting Great Wolf Lodge Arizona.
This destination made the list because my daughter has seen the commercials and is completely in love with the idea of the Great Wolf Lodge experience. The indoor water park, activities, and family atmosphere look like so much fun. I would love to experience it with her and see the excitement through her eyes.
#8 – Panama City Beach
Coming in at number eight is Panama City Beach.
I absolutely love a good beach trip. Growing up, I didn't go on beach vacations. In fact, the first time I ever saw the ocean was when I was in my twenties. Now I truly appreciate it. I love the sound of the waves, the fun I have with my children, and of course the amazing seafood and beach food!
#7 – Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii
Number seven goes to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
The idea of a Disney resort in Hawaii sounds like a dream. The water park, the beach access, and the cultural immersion experiences offered at the resort make it such a unique Disney destination. And of course, one of my kids absolutely loves Stitch, so that makes it even more exciting.
#6 – Disney World (Deluxe Resort Experience)
Number six is going back to Walt Disney World Resort.
Yes, I have been several times before, but I would love to fully indulge in the experience by staying at one of the premium resorts like Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
In my opinion, you can have an entirely different Disney vacation simply by staying at a different resort. Being able to wake up and see animals outside your balcony would be an unforgettable experience.
#5 – Disneyland
Coming in at number five is Disneyland Park.
I have never been to Disneyland, but I would absolutely love to experience the place where Walt Disney walked daily and created the magic that so many of us grew up loving.
There is something special about visiting the original park where it all began.
#4 – Discovery Cove and SeaWorld Parks
My number four destination may surprise some people.
I would love to stay close to SeaWorld Orlando and spend time exploring the parks, but the real highlight would be a full day at Discovery Cove.
The idea of swimming with dolphins, snorkeling through tropical reefs, and enjoying an all-inclusive tropical day sounds absolutely incredible.
#3 – Disney Wish Cruise to the Bahamas
Number three on my bucket list is sailing on the Disney Wish with Disney Cruise Line.
This cruise sails to the Bahamas and includes a stop at Castaway Cay. From everything I have seen, the ship itself is magical and full of incredible Disney experiences.
#2 – Princess Alaska Cruise
We are getting close to my number one destination.
Coming in at number two is taking an Alaska cruise with Princess Cruises.
I don't just want to visit Alaska I want the full Alaska experience, including riding the scenic train and exploring everything the beautiful wilderness has to offer. Princess Cruises is known for having one of the best Alaska cruise experiences available.
#1 – Disney Alaska Cruise
And finally, my number one bucket list destination is an Alaska cruise with Disney Cruise Line.
You might be thinking, "Wait… wasn't Alaska already number two?"
Yes, but the vendor makes a difference. While Princess Cruises is amazing, I feel like nothing quite compares to the Disney magic that I always find myself drawn to.
I am a Disney girl through and through and experiencing Alaska with Disney would truly be a dream come true.

Travel is about more than just destinations. It's about the memories we create with our families and the experiences that shape us.
