Delta's new campaign focuses on the theme of epic journeys, emphasizing that the path to greatness is filled with both triumphs and challenges. It’s not just about reaching the destination, but embracing every moment along the way. Through a series of five captivating spots, Delta showcases the nonlinear paths athletes take to achieve their Olympic dreams, reinforcing that the best journey is never a straight line.
“As the official airline of Team USA, Delta’s goal is to connect these athletes with their gold-medal dreams and support them every step of the way to the Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said Alicia Tillman, Delta's Chief Marketing Officer. “We set out to create a campaign that highlights the journey of each athlete, capturing the joys, challenges, and unrelenting ambition it takes to keep climbing – because no one gets to the top by staying still.”

Time: Focuses on the value of time, portraying it as a finite resource. The piece mimics the movement of a clock to emphasize how time is used by both athletes and Delta.
You Get You There: Puts viewers in the shoes of Team USA’s Derek Loccident, a Paralympic long-jump hopeful. This film commemorates his journey and emphasizes that personal determination is key to reaching any destination.
Going Somewhere: Highlights emerging sports and the athletes who followed their passion long before their events had a podium, such as breaking, debuting in Paris 2024.

Delta’s campaign will run across NBCU digital and TV channels throughout the summer games, allowing viewers to share in the epic journeys of Team USA athletes. Additionally, Delta customers can enjoy in-flight entertainment featuring athlete spotlights, providing insights into the focus and determination driving these athletes.
Delta is also launching "Flight Paths," a series of short social episodes showcasing the pivotal moments in the journeys of athletes like Derek Loccident, Kaleo Maclay, Victor Montalvo, and Ashleigh Johnson. This interactive feature, launching in late July, allows SkyMiles Members and all users to reflect on their own meaningful journeys.
As Team USA’s official airline, Delta is managing travel for all U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes to the Paris 2024 Olympics, as well as the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games and the LA28 Olympics.
