Get Ready for a Spine-Chilling Halloween at Universal Studios Hollywood
Halloween is right around the corner, and Universal Studios Hollywood is pulling out all the stops for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. The 2024 lineup promises to be the most thrilling yet, with a return from music superstar The Weeknd and a host of new terrifying experiences that you won't want to miss!
This year, The Weeknd is back with an all-new horror attraction, "The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy." Starting September 5 and running through November 3, visitors can immerse themselves in this spine-tingling experience, which combines the Grammy award-winning artist’s music with a heart-pounding haunted house adventure. The Weeknd’s previous collaboration, "The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare," was a fan favorite, and this year’s "Nightmare Trilogy" is set to be even more exhilarating.
Halloween Horror Nights also sees the return of the exclusive Terror Tram. "Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse" will take horror fans deep into the Universal Studios backlot, where they will face off against terrifying characters from Blumhouse’s most popular franchises, including M3GAN, The Black Phone, Freaky, The Purge, and Happy Death Day. For an elevated experience, guests can upgrade to the R.I.P. Tour, which includes access to themed photo ops and the famous Jupiter’s Claim set from the hit film Nope.
For fans of classic horror, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface" celebrates the 50th anniversary of the original 1974 slasher film. This haunted house, set in an abandoned slaughterhouse, features all nine iterations of the infamous Leatherface, guaranteeing a nerve-wracking encounter with his relentless chainsaw.
"The Purge: Dangerous Waters" returns to the WaterWorld venue, offering a fiery, adrenaline-pumping show where visitors must fight to survive the night. And that’s not all—Halloween Horror Nights is packed with scare zones like "Luchadores Monstrousos," "Chainsaw Punkz," "Skull Lordz," and "Murder of Crowz," each delivering its own brand of terror.
If you need a break from the scares, you can still enjoy some of Universal Studios Hollywood’s iconic attractions, including "Jurassic World—The Ride," "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," "Transformers: The Ride-3D," "Revenge of the Mummy—The Ride," and "The Simpsons Ride." Guests with select tickets will even have access to the interactive Super Nintendo World.
